Amy was born and raised in Howards Grove, WI. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran grade school and later graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School. She worked for 25 years in her family’s business where she learned from the ground up that hard work builds both character and strength. In 2013 she graduated with Presidential Honors from Lakeshore College with a degree in Paralegal Studies. Amy and her husband of 23 years, Nick, continue to raise their 2 children just outside the Howards Grove area and reside in the Town of Mosel.

Amy wants to continue the work she started when she served in the 27th Assembly district, prior to the district line changes drawing her into the 25th Assembly district with Representative Paul Tittl. Those goals in service include easing the burden that all of our families and retirees continue to face on their budgets. We need to focus on letting those hard working individuals and retirees keep more of their own money, trusting they know better how to spend their money than a government entity does. Amy wants to ensure that a family gets to decide what individual learning needs their child should receive for their future and not let the government force lower income families into an education system that will not be the best for their child. A safe and secure community should be the goal of everyone and that means supporting our law enforcement to reach those goals.
