The Democrat Party and the Culture of Death

The Democrat party loves death. They worship it. Their politics and their policies are deadly by design. I’m speaking of party bosses. The activists, the organizers, and the politicians have spent years building a culture that celebrates death. They speak of political opponents—people like you, me, and Charlie Kirk—as if we deserve to be silenced or destroyed for our politics, our faith, or even our skin color. Yet the moment anyone exposes their demonic culture of death, they shriek and deflect. And when their own followers act on that culture of death, the left pretends to be the real victims here.
Here is what I mean by culture of death. Death and its attendants are the key pillars of the Democrat party.
1. Their most sacred of all policies is abortion at all times for all reasons; murder of the unborn no questions asked. It’s part of their business model, funding part of their radical infrastructure by selling the bodies of aborted children under the guise of “research.” At their most recent convention, they literally parked an abortion trailer outside. Child sacrifice without shame.
2. Euthanasia (doctor-assisted suicide), another darling of the left, is a growing part of their platform and legal in eleven Democrat-controlled states. The so-called “right to die” has already morphed into a duty to die, and the slope is only getting slipperier.
3. Then comes their bizarre pro-crime, pro-drug agenda—policies that shatter families, destroy neighborhoods, and leave death in their wake. Meanwhile, they pat themselves on the back in the name of “equity.” Yet when Trump restores law and order, they cry “racism” and “tyranny.”
4. Transgender ideology is another bringer of death: sterilization and mutilation of both children and adults becomes the death of would-be generations. Oppose this biology-denying ideology of distortion and death, and they’ll come for your job, your kids, or even your life.
5. And, of course, climate cultism. This is their religious belief system that human flourishing is harming the earth. Their solution? Fewer and less prosperous humans of course. Death again masquerading as science and virtue.
Given the Left’s culture of death, none of us should be shocked that beloved conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in front of the world on Wednesday. And yet—we were. Just as we were when the Left tried twice last year to take President Trump’s life. This is America, after all. But I think we’re all done being surprised now.
If you haven’t seen the video, I recommend that you refrain from doing so. It is tough to unsee. But the left can’t get enough of it. Gleeful UW Madison liberals scrawled in chalk, “Charlie Kirk is dead ❤️.”

“Trump next” quickly trended on leftist social media. Liberals by the literal hundreds of thousands piled on—celebrating and mocking Charlie Kirk’s death with lines like, “Looks like he lost the debate,” or saying he had it coming. Scroll long enough, and you’ll find a seemingly endless stream of gleeful leftists celebrating the murder of a 31-year-old husband and father of two. Blood thirsty liberals dancing and clapping to a group sing-along of “We got Charlie in the neck” is one heck of a wake-up call.
And Democrat politicians? They barely bother to hide their hatred. When news first broke, Congress was in session. Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado requested a moment of prayer for Charlie Kirk—then believed to be fighting for his life. Democrats jeered, heckled, and cried out “NO!”. Unwilling to be subjected to a prayer for a dying man with whom they disagreed.
Having no shame for their role in fueling political violence, Democrats like Ilhan Omar shrugged it off by blaming “gun violence.” Convenient, isn’t it? If only we could all pin our sins on inanimate objects.
There is another name that must be spoken, because her death will forever stand alongside Kirk’s. Telling her story was one of Kirk’s last causes. Iryna Zarutska—a 23-year-old woman in North Carolina—was brutally murdered by a career criminal who had been arrested and released 14 times. The video showed the killer walking away with a blood-covered knife, saying, “I got that white girl.” Once again, don’t watch the video. It is a grisly, racist killing that’s hard to watch, and you’ll wish you hadn’t.
This, too, is part of the Democrat culture of death. Democrats and their allies in media and academia have poured time, money, and propaganda into convincing the world that white Americans are to blame for every evil. And now, we are watching the deadly fruits of that hatred.
Should anyone say to you, “Well, it’s both sides,” don’t buy it for a second. No, it is not both sides. Had a white man snuck up behind a black girl, cut her throat, and then said “I got that black girl,” our cities would burn for months. When a black man killed a white woman, they refused to cover the story. Then, when mainstream media finally was forced to, they bent over backwards to not mention race.
One of the most beloved conservatives in America was just murdered. No stores are boarded up. No family business is being burned to the ground. Conservatives are peacefully holding prayer vigils to appeal to the maker of heaven and earth. Prayer vigils that are being protested by leftists reveling in death.
I must add that there are those leaving the culture of death behind. Even if they have voted Democrat their whole lives long they are sick of the violence, rhetoric, and cultural decay. Receive them as Kirk would have. Graciously invite them into conversation and reason with them on the God-given principles that made our country great.
The truth, when boldly defended, always prevails. They killed Charlie Kirk because he boldly defended that truth and they could not defeat him in debate. They killed him because he was—and still is—right. They killed him because he stood firmly for faith, family, and freedom—the very principles our own local party is built upon.
Ultimately, Charlie Kirk was killed for his faith in Jesus Christ and his unwillingness to bow to the spirit of the age. Remember to tell future generations that on 9/10/25, Charlie Kirk was martyred for his faith. I pray that we can also tell them that we picked up his microphone and answered his call to save our country from a descent into godless marxism. We saw how late the hour was and decided to not give one inch of cultural or political ground to the forces that hated Charlie enough to kill him and celebrate his death.
President Trump issued a powerful statement in response, one I would be remiss not to share.
Just days before his death, Charlie Kirk tweeted the following: “Jesus defeated death so you can live.”
